Melrose Seed Library

The Melrose Seed Library is open for it’s sixth growing season!

Partnership between the Melrose Community Garden and Melrose Public Library

COVID-19 Precautions

  • When choosing seeds, wear a mask and keep a six foot distance from others at all times.
  • Each group of seeds within an elastic or paper clip contains the same variety – take the top one.

Where

  • The Seed Library will be outside the Melrose Public Library on a table.

When

  • The Seed Library will be available on “fair weather days” during Front Door Pick-up Service Hours.

Limits

  • Each patron is allowed 12 baggies of seeds for the 2021 season.

Returns

  • The Seed Library will set up a return station in the fall.

Adult Browsing Bag

Children’s Browsing Bag – infant to 5th grade

Teen Browsing Bag – 6th to 12th grade

When you receive notification that your items are ready for pickup, give us a call at 781-665-2313 to arrange a Front Door Pickup.

Please note that our services are in high demand and in-house staffing limited, so we may not be able to process your request immediately. Your patience is appreciated!

NOTE: we are unable to access your previous selections, so feel free to let us know if you want to make sure you do not receive a duplicate item!
