Call for Quilters!

Calling all quilters!

The Melrose Public Library is seeking small quilts and wall hangings for our upcoming Red, White & Words celebration of quilts.  The exhibit will coincide with other quilt inspired events in Melrose all centered around the homecoming of the “Melrose History Quilt.”  The 1890’s Victorian era history quilt, inscribed with names of local area residents, will be on display at the Beebe Estate in Melrose along with “Stitched Connections,” a contemporary fiber art exhibit. Due to space limitations, quilts or wall hangings are not to exceed 30″ in any direction.  Quilts need not be red and white – we want to see your creative side!

To submit your piece for display at the library, download an application:

Red, White + Words Application

Applications are due by October 17th.
