Friends of Melrose Public Library

The Friends of Melrose Public Library, Inc. works to support the Melrose Public Library and its' mission through increasing public awareness of the library, promoting volunteerism, supporting the growth of the library in its activities, and providing the "extras" which are outside the library's budget.

The Friends provide:

free programs throughout the year for families
art exhibits at the library
"Concerts on the Lawn" during the summer
Children's Room programs and rewards for reading program participation
and much more!

The Friends raise money through:

book sales
raffles
donation jar
membership dues
